Invited Legislators: The invitation to the Governor's Cup Invitational Golf Tournament at Pebble Beach is for the individual Legislator and their significant other. The invitation is not transferable. Attendance at the tournament is predicated on the Legislator's agreement to participate in the panel discussion which takes place Friday, following the close of play. It is this participation which makes the food and lodging for the event, although reportable, not subject to the annual gift limit (Government Code Section 89506).
